“I’ve always been a sort of self-imposed outsider, not a geeky outsider or a snobby outsider but I just have a natural desire to live on the fringe. I’m not like a weirdo with a trench-coat but I just prefer to be alone or minimally surrounded by people.”—Sara Quin (via swaymyway) (via isokronzz) (via tabbyhaswhores) (via teganandsasa) (via fuckyeahsaraquin)
Question: Is it normal to get paralyzingly nervous when cute girls board the same hotel elevator as you? I can never seem to bring my eyes up from the floor. So any form of eye contact has gone down the drain. I have no idea how I’ve landed three past relationships. I’m terrible with people. I’ll have to work on this dilemma. Thought of the day. Thanks for listening.
I’m Alex. 17. Female. I’m about to start college, art school more specifically. I have OCD, as in the kind that’s been diagnosed, not the kind where something is crooked and it causes a slight annoyance. Apparently obsession is when you have strong emotions toward something or someone and they don’t reciprocate them. Otherwise, it’s known as passion. That’s typically my problem. Everything’s one sided. Following?
I love music. I play violin and piano, violin better than piano. I’m addicted to Tegan and Sara. Seriously. Paramore is a close second. Also in the running are An Horse, Matt & Kim, Meg & Dia, La Roux and so forth.
I love reading. A lot. A lot a lot. I also have a thing for magazines, which is why it worries me that there’s a declining interest in printed materials. I want to work on the creative end of fashion magazines, because I love fashion. And writing. And art. And a ton of other things.
I’ve been looking for some type of creative outlet that I can stick to religiously, so hopefully this is it.
I’m currently questioning my sexuality. Just so you know. I’ve dated both genders, and still have no idea. Who needs labels though, right?
Introduction concluded. Nice to meet you. Come back soon for another installment of whatever I decide to post here. I’m still working out the details. Thanks for reading. Until next time.
